If food is the only thing that matters to you than Legends Barbecues could be ideal. The restaurant is located in Spice Mall, Sector 25, Noida. It offers cuisines like north Indian, Chinese, Mediterranean, Asian and Continental. A congested food joint, this eatery entertains frequent visitors, that certainly explains the food is good.
This joint offers table serving and buffet both and embraces contemporary decoration. The entire place has small blue and red bulbs put in chains across the walls. There is a singer who consistently sings with the help of EDM and the audience also has the opportunity to sing.
Food: We ordered non veg and veg platter of snacks. Vegetarian mostly had Kasturi paneer tikka, potato fries, boiled chana chat and similar items. Non veg had barbecued chicken, mutton, prawns, and Basa fish. For main course, we preferred buffet. While vegetarians had biryani, mixed vegetables, dal makhni, curries and similar more. Grilled Pineapple is a must eat.
Non vegetarian section had Bengali style fish curry, chicken Biryani, Mutton lababdar, crab etc. Every item was made rich yet with no extra spices and oil. Breads were also available in different types such naan, laccha paratha, butter naan etc.
Beverages: We mostly ordered Mojito and lime soda. Though, both were prepared in such a way that they seemed alike.
Desserts: Yes, they actually had a large variety. From truffle, Moong dal halwa, chocolate cake, tart to Gulab Jaamun, they had everything. Thumbs up.
Pros – Food. Food. Food. The best thing about this place is just food.
Cons – The place is too congested for a large crowd. Waiters seem to be less in number as they are catering to a large number of people at one point of time. The place has lesser light, may be to ape lounge culture, the lighting has been kept limited to lamps and blue and red bulbs.
As in the beginning I had mentioned, if food is on your mind then this place is for you, you can easily ignore the infrastructure.
